Johannesburg, South Africa – Sixteen-year-old South African multidisciplinary performer Giselle Niemand is preparing for another major international milestone as she heads to France to showcase at Paris Fashion Week.
Giselle will be part of Africa In Paris, presented by Africa Fashion Week in collaboration with Noir Fashion Week Paris, taking place from 2 to 4 October 2026.
The young singer, songwriter, actress, model and dancer will join a South African contingent showcasing the work of New Romantics Couture, led by designer Nadene Marx.
The opportunity follows New Romantics Couture’s success at Africa Fashion Week last year, where the fashion house secured the opportunity to showcase internationally. Giselle will now be part of the collection’s Paris presentation, bringing her modelling experience to one of the world’s most recognised fashion capitals.
Her appearance in Paris adds to an already growing international portfolio. Giselle has previously modelled at New York Fashion Week in the United States and has performed in international markets including Dubai.
Beyond fashion, she has built experience as a recording artist and live performer, making her career one that continues to cross several creative disciplines.
As she prepares to take the runway in Paris, Giselle will be representing South African creative talent while continuing to establish herself as one of the country’s emerging young performers.
