A 46-year-old man was uninjured after losing control of his SUV in Welland on Monday evening. Around 9:30 p.m., Niagara Regional Police responded to a crash at Forks Road and Colborne Street.
The man was driving a black Lincoln MKX northbound on Elm Street when he slid off the road while turning onto Forks, entering a ditch and striking a hydro pole. Though the vehicle sustained major damage, the driver was safely extricated and assessed by paramedics at the scene.
