There are gaps in food access in Georgia, but not where you’d expect

In 2023, more than 50 million people across the United States turned to food pantries and other charitable organizations for meals. But many may be unable to access the food they need, particularly if they live in a more well-off area, according to a new study from the University of Georgia published in The Professional Geographer.
