The latest release “Collide” follows the unstoppable success of recent singles “Shy” and “Our Way”, which have gained both international radio play and support from some of the dance scenes biggest names. With previous releases on TMRW, Multiplayer Records and Magic Rabbit, DJ and Producer Apollo Jackson continues his momentum to further cement his name on the international dance scene with his latest single “Collide”. Written by Apollo the new release aims to encapsulate the craving desire to be with someone after a long time apart. With smooth melodic vocals and powerful energetic production, the latest single further showcases Apollo’s commercial increasingly popular style of music.
When asked about his inspiration for the track Apollo replied “Covid has been such a double-edged sword for the industry. Whilst everyone’s had a lot of time to create new music and explore new sounds, the inability to be able to tour, connect with fans and share new music with dance floors has been really mentally hard for a lot of us. I wrote this in the thick of our country’s lockdown, it wasn’t so much about a girl as it was about a desire to perform and connect with my fans again. I was thinking about it all day and couldn’t wait for the first night when I could get on stage and feel that connection again”.
Apollo’s new release is available on all streaming platforms from October 15 and sets an exciting precedent for the rest of the years upcoming releases and tour announcements.
